Stockholm Sweden

It has been almost five weeks since I flew to Sweden to visit my husband, who is a Swedish citizen and lives in his home country, and to manage the visa process in the United States. I was lucky enough to get a pre-purchased passport and was coupled with a trip to northern Sweden. Nordic city, which I have wanted to visit for some time, I visited Stockholm, Sweden for the first time in a long time. From Stockholm Arlanda Airport you can either take a fast train that takes you to the city centre in just 20 minutes, or you can easily take a 40-minute taxi ride. Stockholm city centre can also be reached by bus, train or taxi from the airport, with an average journey time of 1 hour and 15 minutes and a total cost of $7.

The city is beautiful, even in the middle of winter, and you have to use the various islands on the water that you have to see, as long as you wear a few layers. Birka is worth the effort, but it is not a 2-hour boat ride from Stockholm, so not for every city. In the west of Sweden, a Fika tour leads to the coffee town of Alingsas, but the trip would take 6 hours. Fika your brain by doing a "fika" tour in the West Swedish coffee town of Alingas.

This is a great place to enjoy old Stockholm with its charming restaurants, cafés and eclectic boutiques. This is one of the most popular tourist places in the city and also a very interesting place.

If you want to get under the surface of Nordic history, the Nordic Museum is an ideal stopover on your tour of Stockholm. The Museum of National Antiquities of Sweden is one of Stockholm's most popular tourist destinations, with its highly valued Viking exhibitions. This museum is dedicated to Swedish history and its rich cultural heritage, from the Viking Age to modern times. The name of this small island of Stockholm was Skargard and the city covers a total area of about 1.5 million square miles (2.4 million square kilometers).

Stockholm's early years are unclear, but it was founded by Birger the Jarl to protect Sweden from invasion. Under Danish rule, Stockholm was liberated by Gustav Vasa and its fate changed dramatically when the Danes were repulsed to Copenhagen and the city became the centre of Swedish life again.

Today, Stockholm is one of the largest cities in the world, with a population of more than 1.5 million people, and the second largest city in Sweden.

Swedish cuisine is an important part of the city, with a hodgepodge of coffee houses called fika. The Swedes have some unique dishes that are actually very popular with the locals. Swedish dishes, bread and fish are baked on the basis of many of them, as well as a variety of other dishes.

Tagesson is a 26-year-old American who has moved to Sweden and is learning the language to find work. Swedish is the national language of Sweden, but you will find that English is also spoken very well by some people, especially people over 70 years of age, with an estimated 89% of Swedes able to speak English. Erickson is one of the largest employers in Stockholm, with 85 percent of all jobs in Sweden in the service sector.
